My husband and I have a 12 week old chocolate lab who LOVES to chomp on everything... as long as it's attached to ME. Shoes, coats, pants, socks, I can't walk past him without him stopping what he's doing and attacking me! I can't walk him without putting huge holes in my pants and shirts. It's gotten to the point now that he's LUNGING at me and showing teeth! I try to discipline him like i've been shown, but it only makes him bite more. (My husband disciplines him the same way and he's fine with him.) The question is, why is he only doing this to me and not my husband?
My husband works nights, so I have the dog all day while he (my hubs) sleeps. We (try to) play and go for walks and tire him out. I'm the one that feeds him and takes him to the bathroom all day. Then I'm the one with the dog at night while my husband works.
Rich, the hubs, seems to think that maybe Oakley only biting me is because I'm with him so much... could this be true?
