HELP! Need to unlock Blackberry 9000 to put a T-Mobile SIM?

I'm helping my sister out with her new phone because she broke her dash recently.
We have a Blackberry 9000 here, and a T-Mobile SIM card.
I know these are not compatible, and it tells me that I have an invalid SIM card in the phone, so I need to unlock it.
I've seen sites that ask for about 20$ for an unlock code, but I'm not positive if they even work.
I need some help on how to go about this: a legit site? How to work with the MEP codes? Whatever

Hi,the price differs for each country and network provider..the thing is get unlock codes and unlock your mobile safely so that you can use other network..i got unlock code for my blackberry from here http://www.wickedunlock.com/blackberry-9000-bold/rs11wp9/ and unlocked it safely..
