Help on starting martial arts?

I really don't do anything other than a bit of tennis, so I decided to start something more interesting, and I thought martial arts was the best. I first decided to do boxing or kick boxing cuz I heard that it increases your stamina alot and it really did provide self-defense. But I thought about it some more and I wanted to try something that involves tricks such as 560 flips front flips, back flips, twists, etc. Can anyone please tell me any good martial arts that both includes self-defense but also learns some neat tricks. I would really like to learn the 560 degree twist. It would also be great if it weren't the types where you have to take a test to go up in levels. I really hate performing in front of people especially physically.
