A while ago I loaded my horse, wanting to take him to the beach.
He walked up the ramp as-good-as-gold, his normal self. He was fine whilst we secured all the bars, doors and ramps, then we heard him moving around a little, which was ordinary.
However, when we got in the 4x4 and went to move off, he freaked out. We hardly moved the car and he was nearly on the floor. When I got inside, he was leaning against the middle partition, and had totally lost his balance and was very worked up. It took a while to get him standing up again, and calmed down, but when I lead him off the trailer he didn't seem in a hurry to get off.
Now, what do you think was the reason for his falling over?
Also, do you think it is worth trying to get him to travel again? I am not sure what to do, as I don't want to cause him any stress if I can help it.
