Hi all, I need help here. I currently have a flat for sale in Liverpool. It is in a desirable part of Liverpool and close to the city centre. It is very close to all public transport links and close to a load of local bars and shops.
I don’t have enough equity in the flat to remortgage it to rent it out as I need the money from the sale of the flat to buy a 3 bed semi.
I have been told by numerous estate agents that who ever owns the flat could expect £600 - £625 a month in rent from it. To try and shift it I have it on the market at £113000 even thought it has been valued at over £120000. In fact the last two to sell went for £126000 and £123000. Does anybody have any advice on the quickest way to sell it without being ripped off? I am not in any financial difficulty or by no means in any rush but we have been offered a great 3 bed semi in an area that we really want to move to.
Alternatively does anybody have any other ideas?
