A very close friend and coworker of mine has started taking fentanyl patches for recreational use. He is not a cancer patient and has never been perscribed the patch, he just bought it from his dealer. He started on Lortabs and moved to Roxies and Percocet. What is the best way to persuade him from going down this dangerous road. He is only 24 and I am afraid he is going to ruin his life or even worse accidentally kill himself. Also, what are the long term side effects from using such narcotics? Thanks for the help in advance!
