Hi all, need a little help as I have a complete mind block..

I want to make a healthy pasta dish (or healthy as I can). The ingredients I have are:

Chicken breast
Pasta (Spaghetti/swirls)
Garlic
Mixed herbs
Salt
Pepper
Oil (Veg/olive/extra virgin olive)
Dried Chilli flakes
Peppers
Onion
Broccoli
Ground Coriander
Milk
Butter
Cream (Double)

Also have chopped tomatoes but would prefer it without.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

________________________________

* 1 tablespoon dried parsley, divided
* 1 tablespoon dried basil, divided
* 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
* 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
* 2 tomatoes, sliced
*
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 9x13 inch baking
dish with cooking spray.

2. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon parsley and 1 teaspoon basil evenly over the bottom
of the baking dish. Arrange chicken breast halves in the dish, and sprinkle
evenly with garlic slices. In a small bowl, mix the remaining 2 teaspoons
parsley, remaining 2 teaspoons basil, salt, and red pepper; sprinkle over the
chicken. Top with tomato slices.

3. Bake covered in the preheated oven 25 minutes. Remove cover, and continue
baking 15 minutes, or until chicken juices run clear.

I agree that most of that is healthy, and like Viper's idea, in addition, or for future reference, you can use the recipe planner at bettycrocker.com just enter up to 3 main ingredients and it will offer suggestions, great for those times when you know pretty much what you want, but want a spark.

Everything you have listed there is pretty healthy, except the butter and cream.

You can pretty much just mix all of this stuff together, i would just not use the dairy, or coriander, and take it easy on the butter, if any.

You can blend up a pretty good Olive oil and herb sauce
