Help with a writing a collection of chronological short story's?

I have been thinking about putting together a collection of short story's, not unlike "The Illustrated Man" but mine will be a collection of short autobiographical story's.Basically like "The Man From Earth"(movie). It will be story's from my various lives from the stone age till modern times.
Can some one help me with some information on how to wright such a book?
