help with my nokia 6610 please?

hi.
just a question about my 6610... when i turn it on it comes up with a black screen that says "contact service" and will not let me get to the main screen.. this has happened ever since i pluged it in to my computor trying to back up my contacts. i took it to my local telstra shop and they said they havent seen anything like it before.. now when i conect it to the computor it can not find it.
does anyone no how to resolve this problem?

Use another working sim card and try.

If your Nokia 6610 says Contact service means it locked to Network,You need to Unlock it..get the Unlock code from the site for Nokia 6610 as free of cost at here Unlocking4free.com/nokia-unlock-tool and Unlock it..
