I have been asked to pick up derivative calculus over the weekend. I really do not know the first thing about calculus but i am a very quick learner. Basically ive left my textbook at school, so if anyone could advise good online material (probably starting with the most basic?)

Thanks.

Read the wikipedia article on calculus.
That's what I would do.
Basic derivative calculus means you should probably understand:
limits
slopes of tangent lines / difference quotient
basic derivative rules: constant multiple rule, power rule, chain rule, product, quotient rule.
There are wikipedia articles for all of them.

P.S. Some say wikipedia is a joke; I have learned a lot of maths there and have never found it wrong.
