Help with Samsung LED telly & Samsung Blue-Ray Home Cinema System?

I just purchased a home cinema system to go with my new Samsung LED television & when watching normal television & the receiver on the Any-net+ menu is set to on there is no sound at all. I have read through briefly the cinema systems & the televisions manuals & as far as I can see I am being told to plug something into the Digital Audio Out (Optical) Jack, but I have no idea what kind of lead goes in there, any ideas people?
 
It's a small lead that most electronics stores carry. Just ask for an Optical Jack. It's the best audio, however, you can also use a/v cables for the sound until you get the other one.
