Hi!
I was wondering if anyone or the Tech staff can help me, please, as I'm going nuts over a newly purchased Samsung C6625 windows 6.1 standard mobile phone (sim free). I'm having a lot of trouble trying to set up this phone to go on my chosen network, T-Mobile UK, to access the internet (on pay as you go sim).
So far, my home internet (modem) works fine when connected to my PC through active sync, but when I try to access T-Mobile's own internet when the phone is on, it either hangs in connection or tells me that it can not connect check settings.
My Samsung phone already detected the wap/internet and proxy setting for T-mobile. Making calls works, but can not access t-mobile's web.
I've been through the following:
from the main home page on the phone, Start- settings - More - connections - wireless manager (phone recognises T-mobile (phone) is on) - GPRS (in this menu it lists, new,T-mobile MMS, T-mobile internet, and T-mobile web settings) - More - Proxy (here it lists and has the settings for T-Mobile Proxy web).
In the menu for, Start - all programes - internet sharing (here it shows the status as disconnected, pc connection: USB, and Network connection: T-mobile internet). when I highlight network connection: T-mobile internet and press connect, the status changes to check USB connection.
Now when I connect to internet explorer it just shows a blank screen or a box saying it can't connect. I also checked data Call Manager through from the start menu and it shows not connected.
I have tried all of the above with other sims 02 and 3pay UK cards and the phone detected all of the settings, but still it can not log into any of the sims internet.
Just to make things clear, all of the sim cards are internet enabled because I've used them on another branded windows mobile phone and it automatically detected each one and internet is great!
What do I need to do on this Samsung C6625 phone? I've never seen so much trouble in this phone. All the settings are there, so do I have to input them somewhere else?
If anyone can help, I be most grateful. Cheers!
