Help with the sizing of basketball jerseys?

Three years ago I purchased an NBA Replica jersey. The brand is Adidas. I bought size XL- and it fits well length wise (I'm 6'5", but pretty skinny).

Now, I have a chance to buy a NCAA Replica basketball jersey at about 40% of the cost. Here's the catch- the brand is Nike, and it's size L. I searched for a bunch of size charts, but can't seem to figure it out.

If you own an NCAA knock off, just give me your thoughts. Is a 6'5" dude going to fit into size Large? Does Nike run longer than Adidas? Shorter? Width isn't going to be a problem, it's all about length here (that's what she said).

Appreciate any help- points up for grabs for a legit, thought out answer- thanks.
 
Nike size are smaller so if you wear xl for adidas then you nedd a 2xl .

I have a Melo Jersey from nike and is size small compared to my adidas version small is a little bigger.
