So I got the depo shot in late august for the first time because I was bleeding so heavy and it wouln't stop...I mean I thought I was going to bleed to death it was that bad. So they gave me a double dose of the shot to stop the bleeding which it did until october 7 when I started spotting and it hasn't stopped since....it is more like a light flow I went to the dr about 3 weeks ago and was put on progesterone 1 pill a day for 10 days the dr. said it would stop the bleeing then 2-7 days after stopping thepill I should have a normal period then it would stop agian but the pill did absolutely nothing didn't change anything....
Now its still happening and almost time for my second depo shot and I don't know if I should take it because I don't want to keep bleeding like this but I am worried that if I don't take it I will start bleeding really heavy again..The dr said if the spotting/light flow didn't stop to come back in and he was going to probably have to do a D& C but I don't have an appointment until next thursday and its really bugging me because I get horrible cramps throughout hte day motrin doesn't help at all ....I just want it to stop...I wish I could just get a hysterectomy..
