Help, xvid renamed to avi file crash?

After I renamed the file type from xvid to avi, I then tried to use windows media player, I then downloaded the usage rights, then blue screen. Now not even startup repair can fix it, can someone help me and tell me what I can do to fix it?
 
Uhh ohh sounds like a virus there. Usually its not but it sounds like those usage rights might have been the culprit. Renaming a file usually does nothing, its sounds like you got a video embedded with a potentially bad installation disguised as "usage rights" Power down, try reboot, if nothing work, reinstall OS :/
