Hephaestus was ugly and lame, but Aphrodite had to marry him anyway because Zeus was pissed off or something. Ares, magnificent but cruel God of war had an affair with her anyway. But, all the Gods watched and were pointing and laughing.
What does that tell us? (According to the story, not my opinion)
* You cannot force someone to like someone.
* Women like wrong men.
* If you commit adultery, people are going to give you a hard time.
