Hetero males more sensitive to Gay males??

There was a topic question on this and I didn't really understand it because it's not something that happens too frequently or ever (for in my case) lolz. Why would they be sensitive? Are they sensitive to the fact that they realize it's difficult being gay? And that's why they act like "pigs" with their straight male friends? Please clarify this issue for me, everyone seems to get this and understand this except for me.
