My HGV license is due to expire this month but at the minute i am not driving HGV's, my question is if i was to go back to driving HGV's at a later date (say a year or two) would i just be able to take a medical then to renew it or if i don't renew now do i lose the entitlement to drive HGV's and have to resit a test?
