with pink color to camouflage? Hi is it true that the British Army & Royal Navy they spray paint pink color on there combat jeeps & war ships to camouflage @ night & is heavily effective? Is that true? Thanks!

During WW2 the long range desert group did paint their jeeps& trucks in a shades of pink as it blended with the desert , remember that with camouflage as in nature nothing is ALL the same colour and shade it varies depending on the terrain and in some cases seasons of the year .

Not sure but if you managed to see these pink jeeps and war ships i bet the enemy would be slightly confused.


Or maybe Paris Hilton joined the British Army.

It almost seems like that's something they'd do to the Jeeps to make them less visible in North Africa, but not sure about the night stuff.

Good question; I'm going to watch for more answers on this, from people who actually know about camouflage techniques!
