If you wished to demonstrate the technical attributes of the material you could ask what it is that makes Fibreglass construction so useful in boat building in the first place - one issue is the ability to copy in general terms any type of hull and shape. And once a mold is made the ability to churn out many many identical units with identical strength and flex characteristics by semi skilled labour.
This is unmatched by any other medium, as the stresses a boat hull can withstand are very much individual to the craft and maker with alternative materials.
