ok i have to do a debate about high school sports, but i have to debate that high school sports should be banned. why would you think high school sports should be banned
You can go with the whole argument of "school is a place for learning, not for playing games" - students who focus on sports more than their academics tend to have a lower GPA than those who focus solely on school.
We are in a deep recession and states are enacting harsh cuts to education. There simply isn't enough money left, and teachers in a classroom are more important than coaches on a field.
and the argument about high maintenance (uniforms etc), land requirement (which is otherwise, of no use, such as a hockey field), and the possible life threatening injuries that come along with high school sports!
