I never ridden one just wondering does going 120 miles per hour with both windows down in a Dodge viper feel similar on like a R6 or Cbr ? Does the wind really get annoying at high speeds plus when a pebble or bug hits your visor / helmet does it scare the sh@t out of you at really any speed over 50mph ??
(As you can tell i'm clueless) Thanks
Or getting hit in the chest by a small stone kicked up by a truck without chest gear on must hurt like hell ....
to the 1st answer : Yes I know motorcycles are pretty much death machines.
& has anyone actually ever wrecked and hit the payment ? It doesn't flex so once again it must be the worse pain ever. So far already thinkin about saving for the next couple of years for a Porche 911 turbo

We're all different, I really like opening it up on the straight and looking down at the ground blurring under my feet. The wind doesn't bother me because it's one of the reasons I like to ride. I got hit by a golf ball sized rock off a gravel truck I was passing and when I got off my bike and looked, my sock looked like it was used in an abortion. I still laugh thinking about it. I don't remember it hurting at the time though. Riding is just that much fun for me.

Ever hurt yourself during sex and just keep going? It's like that.

I dont use a helmet or protection unless I have to but let me tell u when u get hit it hurts like hell last Monday I was riding my bike and I passing car throw a rock a me rite on my forhead I was doing like 60 mph and it made bleed I been hit by a bird on my face to and is no a plasent feeling but u get use to it after awhile...

High speed means high wind resistance and that is why the typical sport-bike is lower to the ground, streamlined with fairings and riding-position is rather flat.
But to answer your question - If you are doing 120mph on a motorbike you better be prepared for ANYTHING to hurt (even the wind hurts at that speed if unprotected).
If a stone, thrown up by a truck were to strike you it could be like being shot with a shotgun using 00 at thirty feet. Not pleasant!

getting hit by a small rock in the helmet will startle you but it usually only happens when you are behind another sportbike as the tires on these bikes are sticky enough to actually pick the rock up and throw it..car/truck tires not so much. A bird hit me in the shoulder once, I had a leather jacket on but it hurt like hell and my shoulder was a nice purplish color. The wind issue isnt exactly the same as a convertible car..as you are wearing a helmet but then again you deal with the noise all the time when riding a bike..so its kinda hard for me to answer that question cause I dont really pay attention to the wind since its always there.
