-Okay, so... I got my DVD from Play-Tech-Asia. Who had sold me When They Cry, which was good over all. It was dubbed (English voices) and had subtitles if not... Anyway, I went to play my Kai (That also has Rei on it.) DVD and it only played a chapter and a half, then lagged, froze, and just kind of hung there. And upon trying to play that part again I realized that it wouldn't play through. So then I decided to pay it on my computer (A Windows 7 ASUS. I played it on my Slim PS3 first). Then once I went to the part it 'hung' at on the DVD it played through fine. But all wasn't well because a chapter and a half later (Episode and a half) it did the same thing. Lagged, froze and, just hung there. I could use the mouse to click out of the program and all, but even when I put it in it was lagging a bit.

-Only on my computer though. On my PS3 it was all fine. They have subtitles and everything. Though it was a bit concerning from the start since DVD's from Play-Tech-Asia don't have the clearest menu. I don't know why, but it was that way with my When They Cry DVD too, but that one played through beautifully so I don't think it's that.

-Also, on their website the DVD I had bought from them (Higurashi No Naku Koroni Kai + Rei) wasn't on there anymore. People have said that it's not a trust worthy site for whatever reason. I'm just hoping someone can tell me what to do.

-If you need more info just comment and I'll see what else I can tell you. Otherwise if you can help, thank you.
Here's the website http://www.playtech-asia.com/index.php?cPath=115
Just type "Higurashi" into the search and the products should come up.

You bought a bootleg DVD. Rei was NEVER licensed for distribution outside of Japan.

So....uh....we can't help you. It's a rip-off DVD made with poor quality materials so they can sell it for slightly cheaper so people like you would buy it thinking it's real. If it breaks, it breaks (aka the data the ripped from the real DVDs was corrupted).

its broken, you either got scammed or unlucky. nothing you can do.

edit: i looked up the site more, and it doesnt seem to be a legit website. you got a bootleg.
