Hillary Clinton Threatens to Destroy Iran

Ular, no, sorry, I voted for the other moron, the Libertarian one (well, I've been voting Libertarian for President since '92 after Bush I cheesed me off).

Hillary Clinton promises to murder an entire country and no one is upset? Hmmm, so much for the Friends Anti-Genocide Society meeting on MAP.

I was tempted to shop Barak Obama's head onto Power Man, but I couldn't decide if that would be construed as racist (in a sort of "Oh, just because he's black he has to be a 1970's blaxploitation superhero" kinda way" - didn't intend it that way - I just think Power Man roxx! )

Actually I've been able to find it since about 79 when they took hostages from the American embassy. You do know that the current President of Iran (the one who claims the holocaust is a lie and believes Israel conducted the 9-11 attacks) was one of the hostage takers right? And so is the vast majority of his cabinet.

Are you so foolish as the believe there will be any kind of diplomacy with a government that can't even respect the concept of an Embassy? This is Diplomacy 101.

And you want to talk bombs? Who do you think funded NKs nuclear program? Who do you think was funding the one in Syria that Israel just knocked out?

If you guys want to play Neville Chaimberlain and try and hold hands with these people have at it. As usual we will be the ones doing the fighting. You may continue to criticize us and attempt "peace in our time" in order to feel superior while we take out the garbage.

You're welcome.

I hear ya. It's not like they've done anything to us.

We just like to pick on them. We gonna bomb the Swiss next.

You haven't picked up a history book recently have you? You realize that we deposed one of their most popular, most effective, democratic leaders in Iranian history because he nationalized Iranian oil fields. We then replaced that leader with another dictator, whom the Iranian people revolted against, which led to the capture of our people in the U.S. embassy and the beginning of the end of favorable relations with Iran.

But Americans have by and large forgotten that happened and are now whining and crying about how bad Iran treats us and how we can't negotiate with them and should attack them, which is patently bull crap!

We've been pulling similar stunts all over the middle east over the last century and we get all surprised when (if they even did) they fly airplanes into our buildings or try to bomb us or pull off any number of terrorist attacks.

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!

Americans are by and large retarded. No one knows about this, and even if they do, they don't have the logical capability to realize the sequence of events here. We are in a bind with the Middle East because WE PUT OURSELVES THERE, and instead of changing policies, we just continue soldiering on with the same ineffective foreign policies.

Sorry SteyrAUG, Yohan is not impressed with your aggressive blinkered attitude.

Oh not exactly the US. Who was that again?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran#Late_Modern_Era_.281921.E2.80.93.29

In 1951 Dr. Mohammed Mossadegh was elected prime minister. As prime minister, Mossadegh became enormously popular in Iran after he nationalized Iran's oil reserves. In response Britain embargoed Iranian oil and invited the United States to join in a plot to depose Mossadegh, and in 1953 President Dwight D. Eisenhower authorized Operation Ajax. The operation was successful, and Mossadegh was arrested on 19 August 1953.

Seems it was those "peaceful" Englanders who are full of common sense and restraint who came up with the idea and asked for US support, which they got.

And let's not overlook this tidbit.

In 1941, Britain and the USSR invaded Iran in order to utilize Iranian railroad capacity during World War II.

But Americans are clearly the troublemakers here.

Seems it isn't Americans who have a revised memory regarding history. It is a shame our greatest ally asked us to join in the plot. I don't regret supporting England (it should pretty much be expected) but at the time England and France wanted to resume colonialism and both invited us to help with all kinds of bad ideas such as helping France in Indochina.

First of all nice generalization (not to mention CoC violation). It is funny that you research just enough history to suit your needs but just not all of it to gain a completely accurate picture.

But hey whatever floats your boat.

So to recap.

1. Iran = Good. They never did nothing to nobody and just want to live peacefully in the desert and sell oil to friendly people at friendly prices.

2. US = Bad. Retarded, non thinking bullies who don't know much bout book learning or history. Just like to make people do what we want or we bomb them.

Got it.

Just wanted to take this one by itself.

It shows exactly what kind of person you are and demonstrates incredible bias.

So what was it? Plot by Israel to get the US to do their dirty work? Covert George Bush plan to secure his power? Plot by Bush to unite the world against the middle east?

For everyone else, if you have any doubts at all who did it.

Try this.

Al-Qaeda accuses Iran of 9/11 lie

Al-Qaeda's deputy leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri, has blamed Iran for spreading the theory that Israel was behind the 11 September 2001 attacks.

In an audio tape posted on the internet, Zawahiri insisted al-Qaeda had carried out the attacks on the US.

He accused Iran, and its Hezbollah allies, of trying to discredit Osama Bin Laden's network.

Correspondents say the comments underline al-Qaeda's increasing public hostility towards Iran.

In a two-hour audiotape posted on an Islamist website, Osama Bin Laden's chief deputy responded to questions posted by al-Qaeda sympathisers.

In response to a question about persistent rumours in the Middle East that Israel was involved in the 9/11 attacks, Zawahiri said the rumour had begun on the Hezbollah television station, Al-Manar.

"The purpose of this lie is clear - [to suggest] that there are no heroes among the Sunnis who can hurt America as no-one else did in history, he said.

"Iranian media snapped up this lie and repeated it."

Perhaps, as it comes from Al Quida itself, Yohan might actually accept it. They are the good guys after all.

Sorry, but when you throw a rock through a window as a child and your dad comes to whip your butt and you point at your brother and say "BUT IT WAS HIS IDEA!!" It doesn't defer the responsibility or the butt whooping. The fact that "it was their idea" doesn't excuse us from the responsibility. Additionally, the English are feeling backlash from their poor foreign policies too.

Yohan is not playing the blame America game. I'm just looking at history and using logic to determine that what is happening is due to cause and effect, not the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics.

Doesn't excuse us.

Pfffft . . . sorry dude creating a straw man argument and tearing it down isn't going to make me wrong. You have yet to prove me wrong because you aren't even arguing against my points. You are creating a straw man to attack. I'm not convinced, and I doubt anyone else is either.

You are doing the standard Bill O'Reilly bit. If I think America might possibly be to blame for it's own problems, now I'm anti American, pro Middle Eastern and a terrorist.

Blah blah blah straw man straw man straw man.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I have no idea who did it or why. All I'll say on this subject, since you wanted to go there, is that the U.S. government is obviously hiding something due to the way they conducted the investigation on the twin towers, the fact that they haven't released all the video evidence of the plane flying into the pentagon, and due to the glaring inconsistencies in the story they have provided us.

Wow, nice tap dance but one problem. It wasn't the US who threw the rock. We were there, we did go along with it, but it was Englands game.

Sure you are. Now we did back Englands play, and I have no problem stating that. But you want to blame America for what England did because we supported them.

Ummm, no you were the one who started calling America mostly retards and such. You were the one who stated the US was responsible for the replacement of the Iranian leader, not only did I argue that point I corrected it with source material.

And there is that agenda again. LOL. And it isn't holding America responsible that shows you are anti American. It is things like suggesting America wasn't attacked by Middle Eastern enemies on 9-11.

And that is how most people with an agenda face facts.

Sure you are. When you suggest that maybe "somebody else" was responsible for 9-11, when everyone KNOWS who did it, that is exactly what a conspiracy theorist is. And you compound it with "the US must be hiding something" nonsense.

But since you are a funny guy, why don't you entertain me further and explain how the US convinced a bunch of Saudi nationals to attack us.

Get over yourself.
When your done puffing out your chest and bleeding red white and blue macho nonsense all over this silly thread then you'll realize what a load of crap your spewing.

In the mean time go fondle your guns.

about hillary's comments: hillary-ous

IMO, typical politician drivel, they'll either do none of it, or overdo it and get all the public hate.

I can accept that. And I'm not here to say we didn't get involved. I was just refuting the notion that it was all "our" doing.

Well what he did was question who actually did it. There are some people who actually believe we never really went to the moon, but it doesn't mean they are onto something or have any kind of valid viewpoint. The facts about who attacked us on 9-11 are pretty easy, unless you have an agenda.

And "that" is how we got a bunch of Wahabist to fly planes into the WTC? Are you serious?!?

I could easily suggest the same to you.

If you want to criticize, why don't you go talk to the folks calling Americans "mostly retarded" who seem to think we cause trouble in the Middle East without provocation.

Typical. Your assumptions about Americans, and me, are about as accurate as people in this country who actually believe the UK is populated by nothing but drunk, skinhead soccer hooligans.

Actually he is,
The Wahabists are against the house of saud. Who are kept in power via British and American support. The American government corrupts the governments of oil producing nations in order to maintain supply. This policy coupled with a resurgence of militant Islam has led to the current situation. However, America is over playing the threat from Iran much like it did the threat from Iraq. Realistically Iran couldn't substantially harm America without being returned to the stone age.

The Bear.

You could but it makes no sense. You posted pap and I called you on it. Live with it.

If you think American hasn't been in the Middle East stirring things up with little or no provocation on many different occasions then I suggest you bone up on your history of the interaction between the west and the middle east because your's appears to be sadly lacking.

LOL! And then you woke up.... well rest easy and go back to nuzzling your muzzle.
