How it happened:
Everyone was riding their bikes down this extremely steep hill, and I had already really wanted to go down it before anyone had though of it. I started to go down and I picked up speed REALLY fast.

The crash:
My wheels began to jiggle and I was going way too fast, then I went over a thick curb and flipped sideways and hit the concrete on my bike, and slid 4 feet across the street. The left side of my body took all the impact. I landed on my left shoulder blade (I'm guessing - since theres a 3 1/2 inch circle with no skin), then when the rest of my body hit the ground (since I was going so fast), one of my ribs pushed into my lungs (im supposing), because when I got up I was gasping for breath. I also had slide 4 ft across the street on my arm, so It's all scraped up and browsed right now.

Afterwards:
That was yesterday. The pain is more noticeable today. I can't figure out where I'm feeling the pain though, it's internal, near my upper chest and my neck. Things like opening windows or even picking a big blanket up really hurt the most. I think I might have ripped a muscle inside, I just want to know if I should go to a doctor to get checked out because I never get hurt, so I don't know if this is temporary. Will it go away on it's own? What should I do?
