Homeless cats around my house! How do I help them?

There are about 10 or more cats around my house. There all so cute!! I wanna keep them but my mom said no. I feel so sorry for them. There in the rain and the cold. I give them lots of food everyday, so they don't go hungry. I feel like crying! it's so sad that they don't have a home. I dont wanna call the shelter, because they kill kittens if cats stay way too long. I dont want that to happen to them. WHAT DO I DO?????
 
See if you have friends to take them. Or name them all Bob to confuse people into thinking there's only one...
 
Look into your local SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). If they run a shelter it is usually a "no kill" shelter. This means that the shelter will not euthanize ("put to sleep" or kill) any animals rescued and placed in their care. If they do not run a shelter, they will probably know of any "no kill" shelters in your area. If you get the kitties to one of these shelters, maybe you could help them by volunteering in the shelter to ease the burden of caring for so many unwanted pets.
