How do you Christians feel about how more and more people are becoming supportive of gay marriage these days ? About how equality is inevitable ? Do you feel like some people are going against " religion " or does homosexuality have anything to do with it ?
I'm thrilled that gays are more accepted by society in general, and will dance in the streets (no small feat -- I'm crippled. really) when homosexuals are finally granted the right to marry.
Being gay is a sin, gay marriage is sin, and make no mistake...it it written:
1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

well......civil rights has seen its share of changes. up until the late 60's it was illegal for blacks to marry whites.
frankly i wished christians would clean up their own back yard before dissing the neighbors yard, ya feel me?
there's a LOT worse things a person can be, than being gay. being a self righteous finger pointer is one of them.

Well, I know of course more people are becoming accepting towards gays. Studies have showed it all. Look at polls in 1999 and look at polls in 2010. " Majority " of Americans actually do support gay marriage ( 54% ) ...
I don't feel like it has anything to do with religion ; I feel like it has to do with more people becoming understanding and open minded of gays ..
Most people here in Virginia are not supportive of homosexuality. And that doesn't equate to "homophobia" either. I'm not afraid of homosexuals. I just don't agree with their lifestyle choice, and according to most polls, most Americans agree with me.
