honda 400 ex neutral light?

any one know how to fix it so the neutral light goes off mine is stuck on even when in gear and would like it to actually work
and can someone show me a diagram of where the brake light wires come from so i can trace them and repair or replace them seeing how they were cut before i bought the atv
 
follow the wire it should go all the way down and plug into the left side of your engine if your sitting on it
