i have had my mare for a month now and seen its gettin colder in the uk i have been puting her stable rug on at night while shes in her stable. the first couple of times i put her rug on im pretty sure she didnt do nothing but now when i pull it up at the front to do the buckels she doesnt like it now and turns round and puts her ears back she also threatens like she is going to bite but she doesnt! she doesnt do it when i put her turnout rug on tho .. could her stable rug just be rubbing her? shes a dark bay colour so i cant notice any red marks or nothing.. she wasnt as bad tonight when i put it on her cuz i didnt pull it up or anything i just done the buckels..should i even get vest to go under her rug to stop it rubbing agaisnt her just incase?
