how abraham lincoln's contribution's to the United States, still affect our current

life? In school we are learning about abraham lincoln, and how is bicentinal is coming up. When Lincoln was in office he did many things for this country. I was wondering what has he left us with, in other words how does he influence us still today. Like what changes and ways of life did he imply that helped the american people grow. Thank you

Well he freed the slaves for one. That changed things a lot. I mean if it wasn't for him we might not of had our current president in office. We wouldn't be living in true equality.

Lincoln wanted to send all the black people back to Africa where because he thought they would be happier with their own people and white people would be happer with their own color in America...the African country was called Liberia...... unfortunately, he was killed, and so was the plan...
