Can any of these power amps connect with the following receivers

receivers:

Onkyo TX-NR1007
Onkyo TX-NR3007
Onkyo TX-NR5007 and especially this one Onkyo HT-RC180

power amplifiers

Krell FBP 300
Krell evolution 302
Monster MPA 5150 and Monster MPA 2250

I am new at this and don't even now how to connect a power amplifier to a home theater receiver or can't tell if it has a connection for it. And if can connect where exactly do I plug in the power amp cable to the receiver? So please tell me if any of the following can connect together?

I googled the Onkyo receivers and the Krell amps and the monster amps, the Onkyo receivers all had built in amplifiers (the lowest had 110 watts per channel) and the Krells are only power amps (around 300 watts per channel) the monster amps also are only power amps (150 watts per channel).

The specifications on all these components were very impressive also very expensive... The receivers will easily connect to the power amps using rca cables (audio line-out of the Onkyo to power amp line-input) but unless your buying some fairly hefty speakers it's unnecessary to buy seperate power amps (the speakers should be rated to match the impediance and power of the amps. typically 8 ohms impediance and for the Onkyos receviers about 150 watt speakers will work nicely.

A word of advice, it's best to listen to the system as a whole (the receiver, speakers, amps, other audio sources) before you buy it as these are expensive components that you're asking about and once you leave the store you'll be stuck with your choices. If it were me I'd forego the power amps as the receiver won't need one with the right speaker choice....

best of luck
