How are Dovepaw and Ivypaw related to Firestar?

In the Warrior Cats series Dovepaw and Ivypaw are born. Although I read on Warriors Wiki (Link to source of confusion: http://warriors.wikia.com/wiki/Thornclaw) that Dovepaw and Ivypaw are the children of Whitewing & Birchfall. But Whitewing and Birchfall aren't part of Firestar's line of family. Help Please!!!!!!
