How are we going to beat the Taliban?

the only way to win wars is just massacre the civilians of the enemy nation and the enemies will eventually give up


thats what we did to japan and germany and thats how we won


it is morally wrong, but that is how you win


beat the people into submission and fear
 
It's obvious to me they are warriors, and they don't like foreign troops. We can't exactly bomb them into submission, it didn't get the Soviets anywhere. Whats the solution?
 
Your right freedom fighter we should just pack our bags let them regroup and grow strong and have them start planing out more attacks on the U.S. and other countries and let the Taliban become powerful. Good idea.
 
Well like most enemies in that region they have a tendency to hide behind women and children. LOL And you people think there fierce fighters. There nothing without hiding behind women and children. Let them come out and fight. You know if they were fighting for freedom and human rights it would be honorable. But no they fight to keep the drug trade alive that kills millions world wide and they also have a very poor human rights record. If they do not like you they kill you and they treat there women like dogs.
 
I think burning all their poppy fields would be a good first step in the right direction. They get their funding from the sale of the drugs from this plant.
 
I don't think it's as much about completely defeating them as it is about beating them back and keeping them there.
