how bad is the iphone 4 reception issue? will it really drop my call?

i need a new phone for work and the iphone 4 is the only interesting phone from Att. i would like to keep my same number and would also need internet access for all of the down time. if i get an iphone and a cover is the reception still that bad? thnx in advance

i live in Orange county and never had a reception issue with my sony ericsson
 
Nahh you'll be fine with a case.

The problem only happens if you touch the bands on the side in a low reception area.

So in Orange County, I wouldnt worry about it.
 
iPhone sucks, apple sucks, AT&T sucks...it all sucks! If your want a real phone get a droid!
 
Well it really is awesome but to fix the drop calling problem get a cover for it.
