I've known him since 3rd grade (juniors in highschool now) and we see eachother every summer. We're friends and he considers me his "best friend who's a girl". I really like him and last summer we were flirting a lot. (By flirting I mean I say I like guys who are funny and he says "Knock knock") I have the means to see him on weekends because we live about 30 mins away from eachother. He texted me on his birthday but other than that we don't speak regularly until summer. We also don't hang out outside of our summer jobs so asking him places would be a little out of the ordinary. How do i ask him out without making things awkward if he's not interested?
