How can I burn a DVD from the .bup and MPEG formats?

So I ripped a home-DVD a couple years ago onto my computer, and the files that it ripped into were .bup and .mpeg. The DVD had a full menu, and the .mpegs are broken down into .99 gigabyte files, so they aren't all the same. Anyway, when I click on any of the files, my DVD watching program comes up and asks if I want to watch it from that point or from the beginning and it looks JUST like a DVD. I tried to just copy the files onto a blank DVD, and that didn't work at all. My DVD burner (Sothink Movie DVD Maker) doesn't work with it either, and I downloaded Nero BurnLite 10 (I'm not paying for any upgrades) and that doesn't do it either. I no longer have the original DVD which is why I'm wanting to burn this one.

So, how can I make this DVD again?
