How can I change my "secured" wireless internet from secured to "unsecured"?

My girlfriend stays over sometimes and she brings her laptop, which I prefer over her using mine, but we just can't seem to figure out how to turn it off so that she can get the wireless on her computer.

Try looking for the internet connection icon in the bottom -right corner of the screen. Then look for properties and try to find the Default Gateway. Type that into your Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox Browser. Your modems home page should come up and once you enter the password you can edit the wireless settings.

You should not change the wireless internet (Wi-Fi) to unsecured because people can LEECH off your internet, meaning they don't have to pay for internet and use yours. Which is quite annoying. Just change the WEP or WPSK to something easy like 1234. I hope this works for you!

there should be a small rubber button on your router. hold it down for 30 seconds, and all the settings will be erased. but, you'll have to put all the old settings back manually.

it's much easier to just buy a cable and hook your friend's computer up temporarily while you are there.
