How can I clean out a Febreeze bottle so I can use it to spray my cat?

I need a bottle to spray at my cat for obedience, and I have a Febreeze bottle. I've rinsed and rinsed it...sprayed and sprayed, but the scent still slightly remains. How can I totally clean it to make it safe for my cat?
