i just recently bought a new dvd player and it says that it plays divx so i was wondering if i could download it to my flashdrive and if i could do for free
The dvd player expects the divX files to be burned onto a writable DVD. You can use a program like nero to do this. Obviously, you will need to have some divx files on your computer to burn.
The point of divx is that you can fit around 5 movies on one DVD this way, in more-or-less full quality.
The feature is probably most commonly used with illegal movies/tv shows downloaded for free in divX format, but home movies can be encoded this way as well.
