How can I download The Vampire Diaries using Bit Torrent 6.4 with the right format?

Well, for some reason my question was reported, so I'm posting it again because there's nothing wrong with this question. I've been wanting to download Vampire Diaries season one FOREVER and I'm using The Pirate Bay to do it, but my older brother saying I'm not getting the one with the right format and he's to much of a butt to help me. So when I download it all it is is a bunch of random sounds likes it being fast forwarded and with no pictures so I have no clue what wrong. So I was wondering if someone could give me the link to the one with the right format to work on Bit Torrent 6.4. Thanks people! Please don't report this question again for no reason. do you mean that it's strange when you watch it after it has finished downloading?
what program do you use to play the episodes?
btw, if you're just looking for a version of bit torrent that works, I have bit torrent 7.2 and it's working great without any problems. it shouldn't be to hard to find a link, just google it.
