How can I fix an oil pan with stripped drain plug threads?

The drain plug on my 351W is loose and drops a drip of oil once in a while. If you try to tighten the bolt, it gets to a point where it is still a little loose and you can spin it forever without tightening it.

I know that replacing the pan is the real way to fix this, but that isn't an option in the immediate future. Second option would be helicoil, but I'd probably just get a new pan first.

I have heard of 'expanding drain plugs' or 'self-tapping drain plugs' that I might use as a temporary fix. The problem is I cant find a link to these types of things on autoparts websites. Do they go by a different name? Anyone have a link?

Thanks!
