how can i fix my sony ericsson spiro?

hi

if recently bought a new phone which is the sony ericsson spiro and about two weeks after i had it itwont turn on it gets as far as the sony ericsson logo and just freezes
i have bought a usb cable for it and tried connecting it to the sony ericsson repair suite but my phone doesnt get recognized
i have no idea what to do
 
Had the same problem with mine.
Sent it in for repair twice (been without it for over 4 weeks cuz of that!)

Piece of shit is still broken.
Now it also restarts everytime I try write an sms.

Get rid of it and buy something else.
I love Sony Ericsson, but this phone is a piece of shit.
 
Heyy...I have kinda the same problem with the USB connection.Had the phone for about a month now, it crashed sometimes but then it is fine, I bought a USB cable for it from ebay, brand new and it's worked once,absolutely fine, but now my laptop wont recognize it!! Being a teenage girl, I want to put my music on it and take photos off it to upload to facebook ect. but this is really pissing me off, every other sony ericsson I've had has be like the perfect phone, but this one is a load of bollocks...I don't know whether to have it repaired or just send it back and havea bitch-fit at orange for making me spend £50 on a shit phone..Need a solution!! D:
 
i am having loads of problems with mine too.. 3weeks after i bought it in sept 2010, i have had to master reset it approx once a month...which wipes everything from it, including all of the numbers that wont fit on my sim card, my photos, music and messages and all my internet setting because i bought it overseas!
like you guys i normally love sony ericsson phones, so i emailed them and expressed my disappointment. they did reply and said the software probably needs to be updated-which would be fine apart from the fact that they didnt provide a usb when i bought the phone.
i have since gotten my hands on a usb cable, and then when i tried to connect it to my laptop to update the software my computer wouldnt recognise it, so wtf am i supposed to do now!
 
had a similar problem, the phones screen's just gone blank even though it can still receive calls. after reading up on a bit of advice on the internet i'm gonna do a software update - google it and go to the sony ericsson website - but if that doesn't fix it i guess i'll either have to get a new screen or chuck it.
