I have a dell studio, with one of those slots on the side for cds, dvds ect....The problem is this friggin dvd is corrupted and screwed up my whole computer.....how can i get the computer to kick out the DVD when it is booting up...there doesn't seem to be a little button to force the dvd player to release the dvd???

Any ideas?

You have to depress the blue Fn key and simultaneously depress F10. Note that that key has a blue "eject" symbol on it.

Or

Click on My Computer, and highlight your cd/dvd drive.
Right click on it, and select Eject.

go to my computer>right click on the drive and click eject. if this dosent work well id take it in to get looked at.because you dont want to stuff around with it
