How can I get my Lab puppy to stop eating his poop!?

My lab puppy is just over four months and only took a week to potty train him. He is a perfect angel except when he goes poop outside he ALWAYS tries to eat. And often when I go to let him in he has fresh poop all over his face or sometimes brings a big frozen piece of poop (poopsicle) to the door and tries to bring it in. Anyone have experience with this?
