How can I get out of TRIPLE nyc NO Seatbelts DMV TVB tickets?? HELP?
My three kids in the back twins ages 8 and older brother age 10 happened to have their seat belts off AT THE WRONG TIME when officer #931865 stopped us at a Queens NY entrance to the CIP-S.
We had just left from their school where I picked them up -- actually one of the kids did have her seat belt on across her lap - but this was not seen by the cop. Everyone was crying and screaming -- and before I knew it he handed me THREE separate summonses!!! Each for a face value of $120, (++ fees taxes assessment adjustment???!!!) and POINTS, I assume!!
I am actually very safe, defensive driver who recently took a refresher class in driver safety. The no seat belt is worth 3 points I understand --- will I be given NINE points since it was 3 tickets???
I also happen to be broke and very worried about the POINTS (couldn't they consider this ONE event and give me 3 and not 9 pts???) -- can anyone PLEASE advise me??? What should I do???
(Went online tickets were not entered into system yet so opted to tell them to email me when they are available to see -- this gives me some extension of time.) HELP !!!!!
