I suppose it could be done, I've seen corvette motor swaps, I think there is even kits with all the hardware. It is much more popular b/c the aluminum block is actually 10lbs. lighter than the rotary, so it doesn't upset the balance of the car. I think that would be the biggest problem with the V-10. Another alternative would be a three-rotor swap. You still would have 500+ hp, but it would fit under the hood. The motor is a 20b, there are also some 4-rotor engines, but they may have some reliability issues.
