I'm trying to get rid of the chicken strip on my rear tire for my crotch rocket and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to lean over farther other then just going faster? Is there a technique like sitting on the side of the seat or something?

Take your bike to track days at a race track.
Please tell us you're not scraping your pegs on public roads?
Roll over one "tar strip", pebble, or road imperfection and your bike is going down.
You and your bike will end up as a chalk drawing on the road.

There's no easy way. Cornering technique is to hang off the seat on the side that you are leaning into, that alters the overall centre of gravity and aids keeping the machine towards upright and so giving a greater surface area of tyre on the road. This will give max grip for the circumstances you are riding, ie degree of lean and speed. Remember though, you are reducing the margin of error when you ride like this. Get the line of entry into the corner wrong and you wont be able to correct it due to speed and angle, drift across the road and you'll be toast.

Exactly! As the bike leans over, you slide your butt in the opposite direction on the seat so that while the bike is lying sideways, you're still sitting on top of it, so to speak. It takes some practice, but hey, that's why they call them "chicken" strips, right?

Good luck!... ?
