...that has to do with the outdoors? I live in busy New York and am not satisfied with its associated lifestyle. I am currently enrolled in college but hate school and am not motivated to even go to class. It's always been a dream of mine to move somewhere in the western United States (desert, mountains, etc.) where its less crowded and more peaceful. I could live anywhere, Arizona, California, Colorado, even Alaska. How can I make a living enjoying nature and not waste any more of my life inside a dull classroom or around arrogant people?

It's better for you to go/stay in a place that gives you a peace of mind by enjoying life with nature but here comes your problem ,you can't go somewhere if your don't know the kind of lifestyle they have but it's your choice to be with them...
USE your personal skill ;)

There are lots of ways you could find a career dealing with the outdoors without a degree however it probably wouldn't be a very lucrative position.

On the other hand you could surely make the outdoors a part of your life without making it a career.
