How can I make my cousin interested in Ancient History?

She has to do ancient history at school but she thinks it is pointless and boring.

I tried to tell her it can be interesting but she doesn't believe me. I would get out books aimed at kids for her but there is no library or bookstore where we live.

She says all the internet sites she has found have too much information and reading of facts that she can't remember or take in. What can I do?
She lives with us and she's 11

Is it just any Ancient History? If it is, try and get her to learn about Ancient Egypt, when I learned about that, I had a LOT of fun. Just look for some things on the internet that can help her learn. If you want some help, go to my profile and e-mail me. Hope I helped!
