how can i make my own ringtones for my t mobile (shadow) phone?

just bought the phone and ive already tried myxter.com but some how i cant get them into ringtones only mp3. ive tried to options and setting them as ringtones but no dice. Anyways i just want a software that i can download for free preferred so i can make my own ringtones and send them to my phone through a usb cable. Any suggestions for software i can use??

This download is great, I use it all the time. If you have a a usb cord that you can hook up to your phone you should have no problem using it. You just import your mp3 into the cutter and play with the start and stop buttons and then press save and you have your ringtone. You can also set it to fade in and out at the start and end of the tone. I hope this helps if you need any more help Yahoo Message me-- Shakes6125
